Covenant & Government Part 4

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.
Psalm 145:3 (NKJV)

 

Our focus this week for repentance of breaking covenant with the Lord in the area of government comes from Scriptures from the Old Testament pertaining to the Kingdom of God. Please, keep in mind that the Hebrew word [H4951] translated as “government” means, “government, rule, dominion.”

 

Repentance & Replacement
As a member of the royal priesthood, please repent for breaking covenant with the Lord relating to His Kingdom on behalf of yourself, your generations and your nation for the following and replace with statements in italics

  • not acknowledging the throne of God is forever (Ps 45:6)
  • not acknowledging the Kingdom of God is everlasting (Ps 145:13; Dan 4:3, 34)
    • acknowledging and living from the truth that the throne of God and His Kingdom are forever (Ps 45:6)
    • asking for wisdom from the Lord on how our nation’s government, rule and dominion can reflect the truth that the throne of God and His Kingdom are forever (Ps 45:6; Ps 145:13; Dan 4:3, 34)
  • not acknowledging the scepter and authority of the Kingdom of God is righteousness (Ps 45:6)
    • acknowledging the scepter and authority of the Kingdom of God is righteousness (Ps 45:6)
    • having the authority of our nation’s government, rule and dominion to reflect the righteousness of the Kingdom of God (Ps 45:6)
    • asking the Lord for wisdom on how the authority of our nation’s government, rule and dominion can reflect the righteousness of the Kingdom of God (Ps 45:6)
  • not acknowledging the Lord has established His throne in Heaven (Ps 103:19)
    • acknowledging the Lord has established His throne in Heaven (Ps 103:19)
  • not acknowledging in our nation’s government, rule and dominion that the Lord’s Kingdom rules over all (Ps 103:19)
  • not fashioning our nation’s government, rule and dominion to reflect the reality that the Kingdom of God rules over all (Ps 103:19)
    • acknowledging in our nation’s government, rule and dominion that the Lord’s Kingdom rules over all (Ps 103:19)
    • fashioning our nation’s government, rule and dominion to reflect the reality that the Kingdom of God rules over all (Ps 103:19)
    • asking the Lord for wisdom on how to fashion our nation’s government, rule and dominion to reflect the reality that the Kingdom of God rules over all (Ps 103:19)
  • not speaking of the glory of the Kingdom of the Lord in our nation (Ps 145:11)
    • speaking of the glory of the Kingdom of the Lord in our nation (Ps 145:11)
    • having our nation’s government, rule and dominion speak of and reflect the glory of the Kingdom of the Lord (Ps 145:11)
    • asking the Lord for wisdom in how our nation’s government, rule and dominion speaks of and reflects the glory of the Kingdom of the Lord (Ps 145:11)
  • not talking of the power of the Lord in our nation’s government, rule and dominion (Ps 145:11)
    • talking of the power of the Lord in our nation’s government, rule and dominion (Ps 145:11)
    • living from the truth and power of the Lord in our nation’s government, rule and dominion (Ps 145:11)
    • asking for wisdom from the Lord on how our nation’s government, rule and dominion is to operate from the truth and power of the Lord (Ps 145:11)
  • not making known to the sons of men the mighty acts of the Lord and the glorious majesty of His Kingdom in our nation’s government, rule and dominion (Ps 145:12)
    • making known to the sons of men the mighty acts of the Lord and the glorious majesty of His Kingdom in our nation’s government, rule and dominion (Ps 145:12)
    • asking the Lord for wisdom on how our nation’s government, rule and dominion can make known to the sons of men His mighty acts and the glorious majesty of the Kingdom of God (Ps 145:12)
  • not living from the truth and reality in our nation’s government, rule and dominion that the dominion of the Lord endures throughout all generations (Ps 145:13; Dan 4:3, 34)
    • living from the truth in our nation’s government, rule and dominion that the dominion of the Lord endures throughout all generations (Ps 145:13; Dan 4:3, 34)
    • asking for wisdom from the Lord on how we can live from the truth in our nation’s government, rule and dominion that the dominion of the Lord endures throughout all generations (Ps 145:13; Dan 4:3, 34)
  • not fearing in our nation’s government, rule and dominion the Lord as King of the nations (Jer 10:7)
  • not giving the Lord His rightful due in fearing Him as the King of the nations (Jer 10:7)
    • fearing in our nation’s government, rule and dominion the Lord as King of the nations (Jer 10:7)
    • asking the Lord’s wisdom on how our nation’s government, rule and dominion are to reflect the Lord as King of the nations (Jer 10:7)
    • giving the Lord His rightful due in our nation’s government, rule and dominion by fearing Him as the King of the nations (Jer 10:7)
    • asking the Lord’s wisdom on how our nation’s government, rule and dominion can give the Lord His rightful due by fearing Him as the King of the nations (Jer 10:7)
Prayers for Israel
  • Please pray for our Nation’s involvement and support for Israel.
    • For the nation and kingdom which will not serve you [Jerusalem] shall perish, and those nations shall be utterly ruined. Isaiah 60:12

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You today to bless Israel and Your people. I bless Israel to always acknowledge and live from the truth that Your throne and Your Kingdom are forever in her government, rule and dominion. May she always govern with righteousness according to the scepter and authority of Your Kingdom. I bless Israel and the Jews to make known to the sons of men Your mighty works and the glorious majesty of Your Kingdom. Please grant Israel’s leaders and citizens wisdom to know how their government, rule and dominion is to reflect Your Kingdom here on earth. May all Israel and the Jews be blessed by Your dominion that endures throughout all generations, amen.
