Covenant & Government #16: The Lord of Hosts Part 2

Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:
“Amend your ways and your doings,
and I will cause you to dwell in this place.”
—Jeremiah 7:3

Of the many names for the Lord, several of them specifically refer to His position as sovereign leader. One of such names is the Lord of Hosts. Our focus on repentance and replacement for our relationship with the Lord of Hosts pertains to Him as the sovereign ruler and His governmental authority over our nation.

The Lord of Hosts speaks directly to breaking covenant with Him through the worship of Baal and the Queen of Heaven. Repentance of worshipping these false gods are brief as they only address the sins mentioned in Scripture verses pertaining to the Lord of Hosts. Please be encouraged to do more research for intercession on these subjects as the Holy Spirit leads you to do on behalf of yourself, your generations and nation.
