Beloved, hear the Word of the Lord for you.
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.”
Jeremiah 17:7 (NKJV)
The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed,
A refuge in times of trouble.
And those who know Your name will put their trust in You;
For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.
Psalm 9:9-10 (NKJV)
Beloved, this Hebrew word for “oppression” means, “oppressed, crushed.” In Hebrew, this word for “refuge” means, “high place, refuge, secure height and retreat.” It comes from a root word, which means, “to be high, be inaccessibly high, to be too high for capture.” This Hebrew word for “trust” means, “to trust, to be bold, to be secure.”
Beloved, I bless you to hope in the Lord as your Refuge during times of oppression from the enemy. As you place your trust in your Refuge, and are lifted to a high place, I pray that you will be at a secure height—inaccessibly high from all attacks of the enemy. As you seek the Lord your Refuge, you are too high for capture by the enemy.
Beloved, there is truth from Scripture that the Lord will not forsake those who seek Him. I bless you with trust and boldness to seek Him always, especially during times of crushing and oppression, when there seems to be no end in sight. Hope in the Lord who will not forsake you when you seek Him.
Beloved, please turn your face to the Father and ask Him to teach you how to live in Him as your Refuge during times of oppression and trouble. Ask Him how to live boldly and securely in Him as you are inaccessibly high from the reach of the enemy.
Beloved, I bless you to experience the Lord your Refuge lifting you to a secure height where you are inaccessibly high from the oppression and trouble of the enemy. Blessed are you who trust in the Lord and whose hope is the Lord your Refuge. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
