Government & Covenant Part 3

When we understand the Kingdom of God and live according to it as members of the Royal Priesthood, we are able to change the culture of our nation. Since we are a republic and are able to vote for our government representatives and laws, who we are as members of the Royal Priesthood will be reflected in how we vote.  When we bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth, the atmosphere and culture around us is influenced in like manner.

Our focus this week for repentance of breaking covenant with the Lord in the area of government comes from Scriptures pertaining to earthly kingdoms and nations and their response to covenant with the Lord and other nations. Keep in mind that the Hebrew word [H4951] translated as “government” means, “government, rule, dominion.”
